With the increasing population the problem of traffic control has become very acute in almost all the big cities in Pakistan.

The increase in traffic has also increased the number of traffic accidents and our roads are growing dangerous day by day.

This thing has increased the bulk of traffic on the roads. As a result of the traffic jams, the flow of traffic is halted. Fourthly: The slow vehicles marching ahead of the motorcars sometime put up resistance in the smooth flow of traffic.

Secondly, the roads of the cities are narrow and uneven. Thirdly, The traffic is controlled and put under heavy control when a V.l.

In cities and towns there is traffic jam in many busy localities.

In Chennai, one of the four metropolitan cities, traffic jam causes much hardship to the students and the office-goers.The traffic jams in a big city are a daily occurrence. The small babies In the laps of their mother cry for milk, but they do not get it.Traffic jams make the march of life slow and unsteady. Sometimes, the traffic is jammed for hours together.They are badly affected by the evils of air pollution and a majority of them are either suffering from some ear, nose or throat problem or have problems of burning eyes, dizziness, lung infection etc.The high density of vehicles in metros is also responsible for the rise in the number of road accidents.Vehicles go one after another systematically and they go at a particular speed.At the turns, the cars, motorbikes or buses, stop automatically, and then turn, even if no vehicle or person comes.
